The MCM Veining System
Taka Design MCM covering redefines architectural surfacing by overcoming the limitations of traditional masonry. Conventional tiles are heavy, rigid, and typically limited to random veining, resulting in a fragmented, checkerboard appearance. In contrast, MCM’s Combination Veining Type enables veins to flow seamlessly across multiple small or large-format panels, both horizontally and vertically. This synchronized system creates the visual continuity of natural stone while solving the logistical challenges of large-format installation. Designers can now achieve massive, uninterrupted stone landscapes with unmatched efficiency, a feat traditional tiling simply cannot deliver
The Veining System
This page is a technical guide for installers and designers on how to lay out MCM (Modified Clay Materials) or large-format cladding panels to achieve specific visual patterns.
The system uses a numbered sequence to ensure that the natural "veining" (the marble-like lines) flows correctly across multiple panels. Here is a breakdown of how the three systems work:

No 1. Combination Veining Type

No 2. Horizontal Veining

No 3. Random Veining

Note: Our in-house MCM ready stock is currently available in Type 3 - Random Veining. For projects requiring Type 2 - Combination Veining or Type 3 - Horizontal Veining, these options are offered strictly on an intent-based pre-order basis.
