Variable-Valence Ion System for Continuous Pollutant Decomposition
The specially prepared ultrafine mineral clay powder possesses an extremely large specific surface area, enabling it to adsorb formaldehyde and organic compounds. During the manufacturing process, a non-toxic inorganic antimicrobial formaldehyde scavenger is added, featuring needle-like active centers with tip-effect. Unlike the MCM default photocatalysts surface that require UV light excitation (which is rarely achievable under most home environment conditions), this technology utilizes incorporated variable-valence ions for activation, continuously generating and releasing reactive oxygen species. These species decompose formaldehyde, benzene, and other organic micro-molecules adsorbed by the ultrafine mineral clay into water and CO₂.
